But if you hadn't noticed we also have the most comprehensive collection of artisan, bean-to-bar chocolates in the twin cities.  Just in time for Valentine's Day you'll enjoy eating some of the finest chocolate from all over the world.  Learn how small artisans are discovering flavor and nuance in cacao. We'll go through some step by step tasting of chocolates and really pay attention to those fine details.

Perfect drink pairings will be served alongside your chocolate to round out your experience.

Cheese School: Cheese 101

This is where it all begins. You like cheese but maybe you've just admired it from afar. You like how it tastes but you want to know more. Our cheese 101 will illuminate all the mysteries of cheese. Why do we even eat cheese? How is it made? Can I eat that rind? Does my cheese go bad? This class will cover all those questions you've been afraid to ask.

Come prepared to eat some cheese and drink some pairings that will be great with your cheese.

Not only does this class bring together two culinary matches, it is being co-taught by a real life cheese and beer couple. St Paul store manager Carol Ann and France 44 beer guy Bennett will enlighten you on the finer points of cheese, beer, and love.

Mozzarella Making - SOLD OUT

Our very first hands on cheese class! Learn to pull your own mozzarella curd! We’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of turning curd into the perfect balls of fresh mozzarella.  Be prepared to dip your hands into some warm water and to stretch and stretch again (but not too much). Your tomatoes are going to be very happy!
