We are a cut-to-order cheese counter, a whole animal butcher, a curated artisanal grocery, and a scratch deli that offers made-to-order sandwiches, salads, cheese boards, and beer and wine by the glass. The France 44 Minneapolis Cheese Shop is also a caterer that specializes in epic cheese trays and quality comfort food.

Our sister locations, St Paul Cheese & St Paul Meat are located within blocks of each other in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood of St Paul

History

France 44 Wine & Spirits (our parent company) is a 3rd generation family owned business which has operated for over 60 years. The cheese & meat shop is located within the same building and has been slinging cheese in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis since 2001.

Our Partner Farms

We work with a number of fantastic local farms. These folks are dedicated to humane care of their animals, stewardship of their land, and providing us with delicious meat and eggs.
